When I opened our first Mattress Warehouse in the Charleston, WV area in 1983, commitment to the communities in which we operate was a top priority. It has always been an important part of our philosophy to give back and support organizations important to our employees, their families, and our customers.

As we’ve grown, we’ve narrowed our focus a little, but I’m proud to say we donate tens of thousands of dollars each year across our company’s footprint, with a combination of product and cash donations.

Causes we’re passionate about include:

  2. Women-Owned Businesses / Entrepreneurship

Community Outreach guidelines

Thank you for considering Innovative Mattress Solutions (iMS), doing business as Sleep Outfitters,  Mattress Warehouse and Mattress King for your request.

We strive to be active in as many areas of the community as possible, within our focus areas of active and healthy lifestyles and women-owned businesses / entrepreneurship.

Because of the great amount of requests we receive, please follow the timelines below for request submission.

Event Date

  1. January to March
    1. Request Deadline: November 15th, prior year
  2. April to June
    1. Request Deadline: February 15th
  3. July to September
    1. Request Deadline: May 15th
  4. October to December
    1. Request Deadline: August 15th
Note: If your event request does not fall within the window above, please do not submit, as we will be unable to consider approval. Our budgets for community outreach are planned well in advance to the start of a calendar quarter.

How it works

Step 1 – Complete and submit Community Request Form

Step 2 – Our Communications Director will review the requests, in collaboration with a Community Outreach Committee comprised of employees from many departments throughout iMS.

Step 3 – You will receive an email from our Communications Director with a response to your request. Thanks!
